Hey Flower!Relax! The present sounds pretty good to me!Does your child know the childs' parents well?Sometimes they want you to leave them there and pick up later...If not I guess they'll play games and eat alot and ,as Simon said, sing happy birthday.I had the first ever one for my son last month-a football party with 23 little 8 yearold horrors!we hired a youth club and played games and footie and ate too much-he said it was the best day of his life! But I had trouble with the 'happy birthday-lets blow out the candles and make a wish 'thing.I don't know why- it just felt so weird...my sister saw me floundering and stepped in, bless her little cotton socks, and started everyone singing;it surprised me ,but also made me realise how conditioned i must have been...Perhaps enjoy it through your child at first if it feels a bit weird...Hope you have fun XXX

Changes After The Exposure
by Stephanus innow that media attention is on the paedophile issue, how long do you think it will be before the wbts gets new light and encourages peadophilia victims and their families to go to the authorities first and leave the wbts out of the loop altogether?
and if they do, what are the odds that the announcement (if it happens) will contain a line or two saying that "this has always been the case and is the way we've always done it!
"?

I do agree that it won't be long...as soon as it is inevitable that they cannot sweep the whole issue under the carpet, they'll have to change it-that's the way they operate is'nt it?But from conversations i've had in the past, most of the rank and file honestly believe that they have free will in all situations such as blood, transplants, voting and this one, they will always answer that they took the societies views into consideration along with other peoples' views, then miraculously came to the same conclusion as the Big Boys-thus proving their finely tuned spiritual mind! It's probably only when they honestly make a decision that they want to stick to and come up against the wtbs disiplinary machine that they realise they did'nt have the free will they thought they had and it all starts to become clear...yeah, they'll end up saying you came to us because you wanted to...the r&f don't know the contents of the boe letters, do they? They can still be manipulated so easily because the letters to elders are confidential.i wish the NSPCC would pick this up... witness children could be put on to the social services register of children at risk due to the current policy within the society; if parents knew they were watched because the policy is socially unacceptable it may help...

Well, here's my story... Like it or not.
by staceman inwow... i feel guilty about even being here, let alone posting my story.
but here goes.... it was back in the late 60's that my dad (actually stepdad who adopted me and my older sister when he married our mother) got witnessed to by a guy that he worked with.
he was invited to our house for dinner along with his wife and that was the beginning of my new life.
